The Museum of American History. What an amazing collection. Everything from Julia Childs kitchen to the Star Spangled Banner Flag to an original battle ship from the revolution to a statue of George Washington in a toga.
OMG, facinating!! I would LOVE to have that banner in the first photo gracing my entire wall. It's beautiful...and shiny! And I love shiny beautiful things! :) I want to roam through Julia's kitchen and touch everything, and then take a "ride" in that boat. Just facinating. Thanks for sharing!
You really, really packed a lot into your Washington trip! Wonderful photos, and thank you for sharing the trip with us. You did well capturing shots in low-light conditions!
I am really wanting to go back now after all these pictures - its been years YEARS since we visited the Smithsonian. Love the variety in your captures.
I was born and raised in Colorado. I lived there until the summer of 2007 when we moved to West Virginia for my husband's job. I am now a SAHM who's interested in photography, scrapbooking and interior design. My camera of choice is a Canon Rebel XSI for most shots and an Olympus 770SW for underwater. I have a wonderful husband- Jeff, and an amazing son Keagan.

ReplyDeleteWow, really neat! We only live about 2 hours from DC now. I want to plan a visit to some of the museums.
