I agree, this monument is huge. I've been to it a couple times. I really like your POV and crops on the last two. That last one is almost ghost-like. Creepy! :)
I was born and raised in Colorado. I lived there until the summer of 2007 when we moved to West Virginia for my husband's job. I am now a SAHM who's interested in photography, scrapbooking and interior design. My camera of choice is a Canon Rebel XSI for most shots and an Olympus 770SW for underwater. I have a wonderful husband- Jeff, and an amazing son Keagan.
Nice--I like the warmth to your photos; it really offsets all that cool white marble.

ReplyDeleteThat monument really is amazing. I was so surprised at how huge it was when I visited it! Great shots.
ReplyDeleteIt's so beautiful, isn't it? Although, I have a soft spot for the Jefferson Memorial. I love Washington, D.C.
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat monument! I hope to visit it myself one day, but for now I am really enjoying your photos!
ReplyDeleteGreat detailed shots! And it is huge!
ReplyDeleteIt's really pretty at night as well (although photographing it would be much harder!) TFS!
