This lioness was stalking some black vultures that were in the enclosure. She was very focused. Our guide said that they sometimes caught them-- but the didn't kill them. Instead, they pulled out their feathers-- kind of like how a cat will maim a mouse so it can run, but not very far. He says they will come into the enclosure in the morning to see a bird looking at them like-- can you please help me ?

On our VIP Tour we got to drive through the lion enclosure. Very fun way to see them up close without a fence between you (there was a car door between us)

A car door between you & a lion! Looks like fun & cute lions!
ReplyDeleteThat must've been a thrill--probably felt quite like an actual safari. You can see all that muscle and coiled power in the first shot. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteWow - those are so cool!
