We were still wandering around the National Mall at sunset so we decided to wander over to some of the monuments and watch the sunset and the lights come on.

The sunset cast a gorgeous glow on the U.S. Capital building



The Lincoln Memorial is gorgeous at night.  There were quite a few people milling around taking photos.  Love the reflectio in the reflecting pool.

    These look like perfect postcards of DC. Makes me remember my son's commissioning ceremony into the Navy in front of the Capitol building. . .I love visiting DC.
