We all live under the same sky, but we don't all have the same horizon." Kenrad Adenauer

Found 2 swallowtail catapillars eating my dill. They were fat, colorful things! Apparently, when they feel threatened, they raise their stink horns (the orange things) and release a God aweful smell.
I was born and raised in Colorado. I lived there until the summer of 2007 when we moved to West Virginia for my husband's job. I am now a SAHM who's interested in photography, scrapbooking and interior design. My camera of choice is a Canon Rebel XSI for most shots and an Olympus 770SW for underwater. I have a wonderful husband- Jeff, and an amazing son Keagan.
Great captures - and who knew about the horn thing!
ReplyDeleteHow interesting! I can't say I had ever heard about the horn thing either! Pretty cool looking, though . . .
ReplyDeleteI didn't know the released a smell or had horns! I learn so much looking at everyone's blogs! Love the vibrant colors too!
