This butter fly looked like he had lived a hard life.  You could hear his wings flap because they were so worn.  He was still flying around though.

    Neat mushrooms! And poor butterfly. That can NOT be comfortable. :-( :-( :-( Seems like it would be easier to get eaten by a bird in one's prime.

    Oh, poor little guy! I wonder how long butterfly lifespans are? He looks like a (barely) escapee from the Mall of America mice in their butterfly exhibit. I guess they come out after dark and EAT their butterflies!
