I'm back from my trip to Denver.  Had a great time.  My son found this fuzzy catapillar on a tree.  He looks like he's having a bad hair day ;)

Found my first West Virginia Tree Frog.  We hear them every night, and I've searched and searched for them in the 3 years we've lived here, but never found one.  I rescued this one from our pool that's being installed.  After looking at his camo, I understand why I haven't been able to spot them.  Really cool little frog and he has the suction cup feet  that are neat.

Cool little juvenile rat snake we found the other day while working outside.   He was pretty calm and let me take quite a few photo's.

Do you think there is a reason why my son has broken 2 helmets and now has very expensive front teeth?  Sigh... He's all boy.  But I love him!
