A Mama bird decided that she wanted to build a nest in one of my flower pots.  The babies hatched out the other day.  They are so ugly they're cute!

Look what my husband found roaming around in our garden?  I had to take some photo's!  The Praying Mantis has to be one of the coolest bugs ever.  He/she didn't seem to mind me sticking a camera in it's face.  It just sat there and posed.

The Greenbrier.  A wonderful old resort that has been recently renovated and brought back to life.  It's a great place to stay!

I love the forests here!  The trees are fantastically tall and provide an almost unreal or magical feeling when walking under them!

The way the fungus, mushrooms & lichon grow here reminds me of the coral reefs your find in the ocean.  The repeating pattern is beautiful!

Ok.  It's been a busy summer and I have not been very consistent with putting up photo's.  My son and I went hiking this weekend in Greenbrier County ( we were up there for the PGA tournament).  Hiking in West Virginia always makes me feel like Alice in Wonderland.

It's been a buggy summer!  We've had more butterflies & moths.  Some are just way cool to look at!
